Kurval, a rich history

In 1937, Bruno Ast started his trading company Kurval in Amsterdam. These were - as well known - very dark years and it can at least be called brave to start something new just then, with only a little bit money in his pocket. Bruno soon realized that his right to survival lay in providing good service and the best products available on the market. His motto was therefore, “Anyone can do what they want, but Kurval is the gentleman in traffic.” From this rationale, Bruno came in contact with products of very high quality. His successors took the same approach and still have this slogan coming up often.

Synergy

As a total supplier of products for the higher technical industry, Kurval BV is one of the most broadly oriented companies in the Netherlands. We currently carry three product groups that have great synergy between them and make us a very broad supplier. The combination of knowledge in the market and the products produced by our customers makes us a partner in the development of high-quality technical products that will define the future. Kurval is happy to share its knowledge and experience in high-tech solutions with its customers.

Training

Kurval is a company that has a lot of knowledge regarding to polishing and lapping surfaces down to the smallest scale. To increase your knowledge about polishing and lapping Kurval offers several courses. Our polishing course is a helping hand for anyone who wants to gain more knowledge about polishing and lapping. 

New building

Since August 2018, we have been housed in an entirely new building in Nieuw-Vennep. The advantage of this move is that we were able to furnish the building completely as we wanted, according to what is appropriate for a total supplier in higher technology.

 

In addition to a spacious and openly furnished warehouse and a nice spacious office, for the first time we have an easily accessible 100m2 room for polishing and lapping. In this room we can train six people at the same time with our polishing course.

Our range of products for polishing and lapping is large. This we can now showcase better. Because we have extensive experience in lapping, we can offer you the ability to meet any surface flatness requirement. We can also offer you a solution for finishing according to specifications for height-engineered products.
