NSK, air powered systems

Japanese NSK, in addition to an extensive electrically driven program, also carries a line of air-powered high-speed handpieces of very high precision and quality. There are handpieces with straight connectors, angled and angle grinding and milling handpieces.

The straight handpieces run 60,000 revolutions per minute. The angled ones run less revolutions due to their helical gear. All of these handpieces must be fed with air enriched by an oil misting device. Since this is an air-tight system in the engine compartment, oil misting is very important for these handpieces. Of course, clean and dry air quality is recommended.

Several types of filing machines from Diprofil can be connected directly to NSK motors via a threaded connection. The Evolution 410 and Espert 500 have a different connector and can be connected using an NSK connector piece.
