In addition to our wide range of diamond files, we naturally also stock most standard files and specialty steel files. Because it all began with these products for us in 1937, the steel files are a true "original package" for Kurval. Back then, the steel file was a product used for just about everything. Saws and files were the tools of the trade. Of course, this has all changed now, and steel files are only used for lightly deburring a product or making minor adjustments.
Forms and matrices still sometimes require light finishing. This is often done with hand files and especially with riffler files. The cut numbers are printed on the files and indicate the tooth spacing and therefore the coarseness of the file. You can also find these coarseness grades in our catalog.
