NSK, air-powered systems

In addition to an extensive electrically powered program, the Japanese company NSK also offers a line of air-powered, high-speed handpieces with exceptionally high precision and quality. These handpieces are available with a straight connection, as well as angled and angled grinding and milling handpieces.

The straight handpieces operate at 60,000 revolutions per minute. The angled handpieces rotate at a lower speed due to their angled gear transmission. All these handpieces must be supplied with air enriched by a lubricator. Because the system is compressed air in the motor section, oil misting is essential for these handpieces. Clean, dry air is, of course, recommended.

Various types of Diprofil filing machines can be connected directly to the NSK motors via a threaded connection. The Evolution 410 and Espert 500 have a different connection and can be connected using an NSK coupling.
