Kurval has been supplying polishing, milling, and grinding systems from the Japanese manufacturer NSK for over thirty years. Over the years, these systems have undergone significant changes. It started with a small, handy motor with carbon brushes and a power output of 35 watts. Now, this motor with the same dimensions delivers 140 watts, operating with a rotating field and therefore without carbon brushes.
Kurval offers two electrically powered models: the Evolution 410 and the Espert 500. With a slightly larger motor, 200 watts of drive power, and 50,000 revolutions per minute, the Espert is the most powerful model. The Evolution 410 has 73 watts and rotates at 40,000 revolutions per minute. In both systems, the straight quick-release handpiece can be removed and replaced with, for example, a 90° angle or 45° angled handpiece, or with a Diprofil filing machine.
NSK stands for high precision in bearings and finishing. It's no wonder these systems are the best products available on the market when it comes to precise manual finishing.
