Kurval is widely known for its extensive range of sharpening stones. Our long-standing collaboration with die and stamp makers, and the constant evolution of the materials used in this field, has led to a growing demand for new products. Where once only a few types of steel were used, today dozens of them are available on the market, each with its own unique properties.

By changing the alloy composition, the material's workability also changes. This development has also led to the possibility of achieving higher hardness through heat treatment. Our sharpening stone program is therefore extensive, and each stone offers its own unique capabilities.
