Wire wound stock heaters

No fewer than 80 different standard silicone heaters are available. These heaters can be fitted with various thermocouples, thermostats, different types of connecting wire, insulation foam, and an adhesive layer.

  • Watt density 0.78W/cm2
  • Available in 120V and 240V
  • Max. continuous operating temperature 200°C
  • Max. peak temperature (short term) 260°C
  • Only 1.4mm thick

Stretch-to-length heaters

The STRETCH-TO-LENGTH® heater is the perfect solution for gas pipes, for example, which require precise temperatures to prevent condensation or overheating. The preformed windings of the STRETCH-TO-LENGTH heaters offer the flexibility needed to prevent “hot” and “cold” spots. In combination with the matching insulation jackets, this creates a modular system.

  • Watt density 0.31W/cm2
  • Available in 120V and 240V
  • For 1/4“ and 1/2” pipes
  • Max. continuous operating temperature 200°C

Modular Gas Line Heaters

Watlow's Modular Gas Line heaters can prevent specific gases from condensing or liquefying due to low temperature changes. Uniform heating of the pipes prevents condensation. For example, TEOS lines are heated above 90°C and BCl3 above 30°C, depending on the pressure and flow rate. The optimum pipe temperature varies depending on the process parameters.

  • Watt density 0.4W/cm2
  • Standard voltage 120V (other voltages on request)
  • For 1/4“, 3/8” and 1/2“ pipes (3/4” diameter on request)
  • Available with integrated thermocouples (type J or type K)

Silicone rubber enclosure heater (cabinet heater)

Designed for frost and condensation protection, Watlow® enclosure heaters are robust, reliable, and safe to use. These rectangular silicone heaters can be ordered separately with an adhesive layer or vulcanized onto an aluminum mounting plate. Thermostats with different setpoints can be added.

  • Power density 0.8W/cm2
  • Temperature up to max. 66°C
